Also known as: Allen-Bradley PanelView
German: PanelView

- HMI and SCADA
- Vendor product
In one sentence
PanelView is Rockwell Automation's Allen-Bradley family of operator panels for machine HMIs.
Example
A conveyor system in a US plant uses PanelView terminals at each station to display status from the ControlLogix controller.
How it applies
- Engineering: The family includes several generations and series, each with its own software tool and capabilities. Match the panel series with the controller platform and engineering software used on the project.
- Maintenance: Older generations remain in service; plan migrations to current series as part of lifecycle management and keep backups of the application files.
- Documentation: Name the exact series and model in parts lists and wiring documents; "PanelView" alone doesn't identify a device. Refer to Rockwell Automation's manuals for hardware setup.
- Operation: Operators see the machine-specific application, not the product. Operating manuals should describe that application, using the labels shown on the terminal.
Keep in mind: Product names, series and features change. Check designations and software against Rockwell Automation's current documentation before publishing.
